Neutral furnishings work best
The carpets should be as plain as possible and in good condition.
Painted surfaces are easier to preserve than wallpaper

Gardens should be orderly and tidy - If the Tenant is to maintain the garden then all garden tools should be provided. Up until the commencement of the Tenancy, it is the Landlords duty to see that the garden is clean and in good order.
